Chief Academy Instructor: Performs highly advanced (senior-level) training work. Work involves planning, developing, organizing, conducting, and evaluating educational and training programs. May plan, assign, and/or supervise the work force of others. Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Minimum of 5 years active law enforcement experience. Must hold an instructor’s certification through the Texas Commission on  Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE). Must be experienced in lesson plan development as required by TCLEOSE. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university preferred but not required. Master Peace Officer License is preferred. Salary range $48,000 to $60,000 annually. Application may be obtained at link below.  Applications may be mailed to P.O.
