Solid Waste Grant Recipients - williamson CountyThe Williamson County Recycling Center accepts used oil, scrap metal including washed tin cans, cardboard, newspaper, paper products, aluminum, plastic and e-waste including computers, monitors, keyboards and cables. Cell phones will be accepted and donated to The Crisis Center. Appliances can be disposed of at the Recycling Center and landfill; however, refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners must have the Freon removed by a certified technician and officially designated as Freon-free before they can be accepted. There is no fee to dispose of appliances at the Recycling Center; however, at the landfill, the cost to dispose of a single appliance is approximately $15. The Center does not accept Household Hazardous Waste, including Paint.
