Resources to find, evaluate and compare Nursing Home care are provided by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), Medicare Nursing Home Compare, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
The Quality Reporting System (QRS) provides the results of inspections and investigations of Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. All licensed facilities in Texas are listed. You can search by geographical area as well as by type or name of facility. The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) is the licensing and regulatory agency for long term care facilities in Texas.
Nursing Home Compare gives detailed information about every Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing home in the country. Search by name, city, county, state, or ZIP code.
