The goal of the IR&A Program is to help our clients preserve their independence. For many, this is the first step to making informed decisions about the programs and services that fit their needs. The Information & Referral/Assistance (I&R/A) Program provides information about human services available in the ten-county Capital Area. The program is staffed by an I&R/A Specialist.

2-1-1 is a three-digit phone number for access to an Information and Referral operator 24 hours a day throughout the state of Texas.
