CAPCOG Employment Opportunities

RPS — Regional Research Specialist

The Regional Planning and Services Division is seeking a Regional Research Specialist to support programmatic activities. The main duties of the position will perform research, mapping and data analysis to support regional planning projects that integrate land use, transportation, and other growth trends to support and assess regional policy and planning strategies. Ideal candidates will have an understanding of Texas development regulations and community planning practices.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in community and regional planning, urban planning, public policy or public administration is required. Completion of graduate-level coursework in planning or public policy is preferred.
At least 12 months of professional work in community and regional planning, urban planning, public policy, or public administration is required. 
Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per year annualized
