SUMMARY:CEDS Workshop - Bastrop County
DESCRIPTION:Join the CAPCOG Economic Development Program for a 2025-2030 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) community engagement workshop\, where CAPCOG will gather information from the public\, local governments\, and other economic development stakeholders to create the five-year strategy. \nThe CEDS establishes regional economic goals and objectives while also providing useful regional information\, guidance\, and perspective from and to local economic development stakeholders at a city\, county\, or regional level. It serves as a conceptual framework for local actors to strengthen the competitiveness\, economic resilience\, and quality of life in the Capital Area. \nDuring the workshop\, CAPCOG will present an introduction to the CEDS\, discuss data about the county and region\, and conduct an open forum on community needs and wants. \nRegistration is not required to attend and provide feedback\, but it will be used to promote future updates about the CEDS and for CAPCOG to receive additional feedback before and after publication of the CEDS. \nRegister for the Community Engagement Workshop. \nLearn more about the CEDS.
