The CAPCOG Executive Committee, in its capacity as the Capital Area Emergency Communications District (CAECD) Board of Managers, will conduct a public hearing at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025 or after the CAPCOG Executive Committee meeting concludes. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments during the review and consideration of the continuation of the CAECD and its 9-1-1 emergency services fee, in compliance with Chapter 772, Subchapter G of the Texas Health and Safety Code. The district consists of local jurisdictions in Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Llano, Travis, and Williamson counties.
