DESCRIPTION:CAPCOG is taking public comments to contribute to the drafting of the 2025-2030 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) until May 16. Comments can be submitted by email or an online form. \nThe CEDS is a five-year plan that compiles key economic data\, trends\, and insights with local and regional input so decision-makers can understand challenges and opportunities locally and within the region. It offers strategic guidance and a shared perspective to facilitate collaboration among local governments\, businesses\, workforce organizations\, and other stakeholders to encourage coordinated regional efforts to address economic priorities. It serves as a resource for local economic development stakeholders at the city\, county\, and regional levels. \nPublic input is vital to creating the CEDS\, and CAPCOG is encouraging all to participating in commenting on the draft of the CEDS. The draft has been made available here\, but regional stakeholders can get a copy of the CEDS by visiting the CAPCOG offices\, 6800 Burleson Road\, Building 310\, Suite 165 in Austin. \nRead the 2025-2030 CEDS draft. \nSubmit a Comment. \nContact Kaileen McHugh about the CEDS or the CEDS process. \n \n
