SUMMARY:Criminal Justice Strategy Plan Engagement Session - Hays & Caldwell counties
DESCRIPTION:CAPCOG is conducting a series of regional stakeholder meetings to develop the next five-year Criminal Justice Strategic Plan. These sessions are an  opportunity for regional stakeholders to provide input on the region’s criminal justice priorities\, service gaps\, and needs. Each session will held in a different location so organizations operating in specific counties can discuss the unique needs of their geographic area and populations. \nThe sessions include: \n\nTravis and Williamson counties – 10 a.m. to noon\, June 16\, CAPCOG Offices\, 6800 Burleson Road in Austin\nLee\, Bastrop and Fayette counties – 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\, June 17\, Fayette County EMS\, 1721 N Von Minden Road in La Grange\nBurnet\, Llano and Blanco counties – 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\, June 18\, Marble Falls Public Library\, 101 Main Street. in Marble Falls\nHays and Caldwell counties – 1 to 3 p.m.\, June 20\, San Marcos Public Library\, 625 E Hopkins Street in San Marcos\n\nAny resident or organization with an interest in participating in the criminal justice planning process is invited to attend their county’s session; however\, CAPCOG is specifically seeking input from the following stakeholder groups: \n\nCounty and city public officials and administrators\nLaw enforcement agencies\nJuvenile justice professionals\nVictim service providers\nMental health & substance use service providers\nSchool public officials and administrators\nNonprofits and community organizations\n\nThe sessions are not required but are a valuable opportunity to shape the regional five-year strategic plan. Due to seating limitations\, CAPCOG requests that prospective attendees register for the session associated with their organization’s primary service area. \nRegister to attend.
