SUMMARY:TxDOT virtual\, public meeting for 2025-2028 Rural TIP
DESCRIPTION:The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) – Austin District will conduct a virtual\, public meeting for the 2025-2028 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP) to provide information and get comments on which transportation projects that may come to the district’s rural counties. The counties in the CAPCOG Region being asked to participate include Blanco\, Lee and Llano. \nThe Rural TIP includes all added capacity and regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years\, including those eligible for federal funding. This meeting offers the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. \nThe Rural TIP is the first step in producing a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). \nJoin the meeting on TxDOT’s Austin TIP page at 5 p.m. Wednesday\, June 12\, 2024 \nThe Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43\, Texas Administrative Code\, Section 16.102\, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the Rural TIP. A short presentation\, exhibits explaining how the Rural TIP operates\, and projects that are included in it will be available to view during the virtual public meeting. \nAll community members are encouraged to attend the virtual\, public meeting and provide written comments on the proposed program. Comments must be postmarked or otherwise received by Wednesday\, June 26\, 2024\, to: TxDOT Austin District\, Attn: Rural TIP; 7901 North I-35\, Austin Texas 78753; or by email: Attention: Rural TIP. \nSpecial Accommodations: The virtual\, public meeting will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English\, one will be provided to you.
