CAPCOG is holding a public hearing to gather community input on the conditionally approved Preliminary Method of Distribution (MOD) for $52,253,000 in Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funds to provide financial assistance for necessary expenses that support activities related to Hurricane Harvey disaster relief. Activities include long-term recovery, restoration of infrastructure and housing, economic revitalization, mitigation, and affirmatively furthering fair housing. The funding is for the most impacted and distressed (MID) areas in Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, and Lee counties.
This hearing also will be offered virtually via Microsoft Teams. CAPCOG recommends registering for the virtual meetings to receive an attendance link via email the day before they occur. Registration is not required to attend in person.
