Particulate Matter Public Comment Period Ends

CAPCOG is soliciting public comments on the proposed particulate matter 2.5 measures for the Austin-Round Rock-Georgetown MSA Regional Air Quality Plan that seek to reduce particulate matter emissions from major sources. The comment period will end March 26.

These proposed measures are new and differ from the measures used to control ozone forming emissions. After the survey closes, CAPCOG will compile the responses, and provide them to Clean Air Coalition for consideration. Any new emission reduction measures that are committed to by CAC will be incorporated into an update to the Regional Air Quality Plan.
