Overview

The CAPCOG Homeland Security Divisions is hosting a Texas Disaster Accounting 101 course. It trains public safety personal and other municipal and county officials to understand the documentation requirements to maximize their reimbursement potential after a declared disaster.

This high-level course covers basic disaster accounting documentation requirements, processes, and procedures, and cost tracking. It should assist jurisdiction personnel with implementing appropriate processes and procedures for the entire disaster timeline before a disaster takes place to help maximize reimbursement potential.
