TNRIS StratMap Winter 2020-2021 Kickoff

The Texas Natural Resources Information System is hosting its Strategic Mapping (StratMap) Winter 2020-21 LiDAR and Orthoimagery Interest Kick-Off meeting online. CAPCOG and regional jurisdictions have participated in the StratMap program for several years to decrease the cost of purchasing aerial imagery through its economies of scale.

While CAPCOG will mostly like coordinate purchases for othroimagery across the region, jurisdictions should participate in virtual meeting to learn about other services that can be purchased through the StratMap program. Aerial imagery is useful tool for planning, to include mapping for emergency communications purposes.
