TxDOT Transportation Alternatives Program Workshop

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is conducting a virtual application workshop for the 2021 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TA) Program.

The program provides funding for construction of a variety of alternative transportation projects, including ADA/pedestrian infrastructure, on- and off-street bikeways, shared use paths, infrastructure for non-driver access to public transportation, and access for non-motorized roadway users, including safe routes to schools. TxDOT administers the TA funds for locally sponsored bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure projects in communities with less than a population of 200,000.
