CAPCOG will begin accepting nominations on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019 from eligible city and county elected officials who would like to serve on CAPCOG’s Executive Committee, the board that has oversight for the agency’s operations.
To be eligible, an interested city or county official must first be designated to CAPCOG’s General Assembly by his or her city council or commissioners court. The nomination for the Executive Committee is not a designation by the governing body; however, this is made by the city or county official who wishes to serve. The General Assembly elects the Executive Committee for the upcoming calendar year at its annual meeting in December; this year’s meeting will be Dec. 11.
