The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) announced about $4.6 million in grants for projects to implement new technologies that reduce emissions of stationary sources, with at least $1 million available for renewable energy electricity storage projects. The TCEQ will accept applications for the program until 5 p.m. Oct. 7, 2020.
Eligible entities must own and operate, or intend to build, own, and operate stationary sources in Texas. Projects types can include:
The New Technology Implementation Grant (NTIG) program is part of the Texas Emissions Reduction Plan.
