LBJ School - Management Development Program

Note: This Class Is Open to Supervisory and Management level 9-1-1 employees from CAPCOG PSAP Agencies.

Management Development Program

The three day session is designed to help participants enhance their skills in working together and managing effectively toward identified outcomes. This will be a highly interactive learning experience that is based on practical, relevant and participant-centered instructional methods that may include: small group discussions, role-play, and experiential learning activities to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness.

Participants in the session will leave with an enhanced awareness of their own effectiveness and strategies to use in their workplace for individual and organizational success.

The Governor’s Center for Management Development provides leadership and organizational development services to thousands of managers and leaders each year. Program participants come from all levels of government in the United States as well as internationally.  Our mission is to improve organizational effectiveness through the development of leaders and organizations.  We believe it is critical to define the skills, knowledge, abilities and behaviors needed by managers and leaders to achieve excellence.  We are dedicated to developing and delivering educational courses and services that will assist leaders and organizations in striving for that excellence.
