Advanced Human Trafficking TCOLE #3271

This will be an 8-hour in-service course for licensed peace officers AND the General Public!  The course will give officers information on identifying victims, investigating human trafficking, things to consider when rescuing victims and prosecuting traffickers, connecting victims to needed services, the need for a coordinated community response, and how state, federal, and global human trafficking concerns are connected. This course will be informational to the general public about what human trafficking is and how to be aware of it and how they can assist law enforcement. 

The instructor will use video, lecture and case summaries to provide an interesting and useful course to students.

Attendee must bring their PID # to receive TCOLE Credit for courses affiliated with CAPCOG. To promote a professional environment, CAPCOG requires proper business attire. T-shirts, shorts, capri pants and flip flops are prohibited. No meals provided with training.
