Criminal Justice Grant Writing Workshop

CAPCOG is conducting a mandatory grant writing workshop for entities applying for Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division (CJD) funding opportunities for plan year 2020 in the following programs: the General Victim Assistance Direct Service Program, formerly General Victim Assistance Program (VOCA); the Violence Against Women Justice and Training Program (VAWA); the Juvenile Justice Grant Program (JJ); and the Criminal Justice Program, formerly Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG).

The workshop will cover what enitities are eligible to apply, eligible activities, application requirements, funding periods, regulations, certifications and other grant rules for each funding source.

Please note if your organization plans to apply for any of the criminal justice grants, your attendance at a grant writing workshop is mandatory. Failing to attend a grant writing workshop and submitting an application, means your application will be deemed ineligible by CJD.
