The 9-1-1 Supervisor Course is a 32-hour class which trains new supervisors for emergency communication professionals (ECPs) in Texas. It covers basic communication, leadership skills, ethics, and the transition from ECP to supervisor.

The course uses activities, discussions, and scenarios to prepare participants for supervisory roles. Key topics include verbal and nonverbal communication, conflict handling, supervision liabilities, planning, and organizing.
