This course teaches participants how to effectively coordinate between the Incident Command System (ICS) and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) using NIMS principles.

Who Should Take This Course:
Emergency management personnel from all levels of government, private industry, and volunteer organizations involved in ICS or EOC operations. No prior experience is required.

Course Objectives:
Participants will learn to:

  • Explain key NIMS and ICS/EOC coordination concepts.

  • Identify and analyze ICS/EOC coordination challenges.

  • Compare the roles of Incident Command and the EOC.

  • Apply coordination concepts to scenarios.

  • Develop an ICS/EOC action plan for their community.
