General Assembly – The Region’s Demography

Demographers from the Texas Demographic Center will discuss population changes of the CAPCOG region and their impacts on older adults, the economy, transportation, and more during the September 17th General Assembly.

CAPCOG General Assembly representatives will vote on the agency’s 2025-26 FY budget and elect members of a nominating committee, that will review self-nominations of those wanting to serve on the 2026 CAPCOG Executive Committee. A full agenda for the meeting will be released closer to the meeting date.

General Assembly representatives will receive a complimentary lunch for attending. While this meeting is open to the public, CAPCOG requests that General Assembly Representatives and others wishing to eat lunch RSVP through this website. Guest who are not General Assembly representatives are asked to pay $35 for a meal.
