General Assembly

The CAPCOG General Assembly will convene to elect the COG’s 2026 Executive Committee and consider amendments to the CAPCOG Bylaws. The luncheon will feature guest speakers who will discuss regional topics.

CAPCOG also will recognize several honors for the year to include the Jack Griesenbeck Leadership in Regionalism Award, the Phil Parmer Volunteer Award, and the Bill Gill Air Quality Leadership Award. The December meeting also is a show of appreciation for all CAPCOG advisory and policy committee members.

A full agenda for the meeting will be released closer to the luncheon’s date.

Special Instructions

While this meeting is open to the public, CAPCOG requests General Assembly Representatives and others RSVP to provide an accurate lunch count. General Assembly representatives and advisory and policy committee members will receive a complimentary lunch.

Guests who are not General Assembly representatives are asked to pay $35 for a meal.

Shuttle Service

CAPCOG is offering a shuttle service from its offices to St. Edwards University for those who don’t want to park at the university. The first shuttle will leave the CAPCOG Offices at 9:30 a.m. to transport people for the Executive Committee meeting before the General Assembly. CAPCOG’s Offices are located at 6800 Burleson Road, building 310, Suite 165 in Austin.
