This 12-hour class is for supervisors who administer employee evaluations. It focuses on establishing and improving sound methodologies and encouraging improvement in employees.
The course is meant to develop leadership abilities, improve technical skills, and craft better organizations.
Instructor: Chief Chris Bratton (ret.) served as the Chief in Elgin, Texas after retiring as a Round Rock Police Department Division Commander with more than 28 years of service to the city. Chief Bratton holds a Master of Science Degree from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Excelsior University. He is a graduate of the PERF Senior Management Institute for Police among other executive development programs.
Special Instructions
The Texas Police Chief’s Association Foundation is conducting this course, which also is being hosted by the Cedar Park Police Department. The CAPCOG Regional Law Enforcement Academy is not conducting this course. CAPCOG however is promoting the course to ensure law enforcement personnel throughout the region have access to professional development opportunities offered in the region.
Texas Police Chiefs Association is handling course registration.
