Lee County is hosting a Radio Rodeo that will test the interoperability of communications equipment between local government emergency response agencies and regional and state-wide response teams. The day will have two sessions with county-wide government and resource partners taking places in the morning and then local, regional and state partners engaging in testing in the afternoon.
The radio rodeo will have the following goals:
- Test physical functionality of communication systems
- Mock Emergency Responses to navigate radio systems real time
- Improve coordination across private, local, state and federal resources
- Strengthen Regional Interoperability as a whole
Radio programming will be available on site.
