CAPCOG and the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) are seeking stakeholder input for drafting the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) 2025 One-Year Action Plan (OYAP) and 2025-29 Consolidated Plan. Join this workshop to provide your input and hear from CAPCOG, the TDA and previous grant awardees about the TxCDBG process, the program’s benefits and successes.
The TDA will describe the purposes of the plans and to receive comments to aid in the plans’ development. The OYAP identifies the intended use of funds received by the TxCDBG program for Program Year 2025 while the 2025-29 Consolidated Plan illustrates the state’s strategies in addressing the priority needs and specific goals and objectives throughout 2025 to 2029. The TDA also will provide a summary of TxCDBG program updates, such as changes to the application process and increased maximum awards. Upcoming funding opportunities also will be discussed.
Those who attend will hear about successful 2024 grant applications from cities such as Llano, Flatonia, Marble Falls, Florence, Bastrop, Granite Shoals, and Thrall.
Special Instructions
CAPCOG is requesting people register to attend the meeting, so it can get an accurate headcount of attendees and ensure there is appropriate space. Registration however is not required to attend. A sign-in sheet will be available at the door.
