The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of the Capital Area invite you to a FREE workshop designed for community members and helping professionals interested in learning more about the services we offer and connecting with fellow professionals across the region. The workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of services offered by the AAA and ADRC of the Capital Area, which serves Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Fayette, Lee, Llano, Travis and Williamson Counties.
Topics to be covered will include:
- Mission of the Area Agencies on Aging and the Older Americans Act
- Nutrition, Senior Center Operations, and Transportation Services
- Medicare Benefits Counseling
- WarnCentralTexas Emergency Alter Registration
- Care Coordination and Caregiver Support Services
- Ombudsman Services for Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities
