The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of the Capital Area invite you to a FREE training designed for helping professionals. This event is ideal for staff from nonprofits, healthcare, government agencies, and other service providers interested in learning more about the services we offer and connecting with fellow professionals across the region. The workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of services offered by the AAA and ADRC of the Capital Area, which serves Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Fayette, Lee, Llano, Travis and Williamson Counties.
Topics to be covered will include:
- Mission of the Area Agencies on Aging and the Older Americans Act
- Nutrition, Senior Center Operations, and Transporation Services
- Medicare Benefits Counseling
- WarnCentralTexas Emergency Alter Registration
- Care Coordination and Caregiver Support Services
