CAPCOG’s Regional Law Enforcement Academy has scheduled its next Basic Peace Officer Course (BPOC)— Course No. 104 — to start Dec. 15, 2025. The course will be a part-time, night course and take place at Hutto Police Department. The course is meant to allow cadets to work while being enrolled in a BPOC.
For individuals seeking to enroll the course, entrance exams began being offered in September and will continue through October. Find and schedule a testing time. CAPCOG is also accepting cadets from local policing agencies. Those agencies should contact Tonya Domingo, CAPCOG academy office coordinator.
Class times for the course will be from 6 to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursdays, with 8- to 12-hour days on Saturdays, depending on the training topics. The course will run about 9 months long with an anticipated graduation date of September 30, 2026.
