The CAPCOG Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) will meet to discuss economic development issues ranging from increasing employment opportunities to coordinating local economic development planning with transportation, community development and job training planning. The EDAC meetings quarterly and consists of elected officials and other people who have an interest in the region’s economic development.
Every five years the group develops the region’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy and provides updates to the strategy annually. At this meeting, it will discuss and consider the 2025-2030 CEDS draft for recommendation of approval by the CAPCOG Executive Committee.
