CAPCOG has postponed this webinar until the EDA releases its American Rescue Plan Act Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). CAPCOG will notify all local jurisdictions when the NOFO is released and when this webinar is rescheduled.

CAPCOG and the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) are hosting a webinar series to prepare local governments and other organizations to apply for EDA’s American Rescue Plan Act funding opportunity.

This third webinar in the series will provide an overview of the EDA’s American Rescue Plan Act notices of funding opportunity for the standard program and the tourism allocation. The webinar will be led by Robert Peche, EDA’s Economic Development Representative of South and West Texas with the Austin Regional Office. The webinar will close with questions and answers discussion.

The EDA has $3 billion to distribute nationwide for general economic recovery projects and tourism related projects. The notice of funding opportunities for both types of projects should be released soon.
